Untold Journeys

Day 01

Stay in your accommodations in Negombo so that you can unwind with your family. Take a tour of the city and visit some of the most beautiful beaches.

Day 02

Begin your day by taking a tour of Negombo to see the most vibrant churches. Explore Anuradhapura the oldest city in the world on a bicycle in the evening. See the magnificent ‘Jetavanarama Stupa’, a historic temple and the revered Bo tree, the oldest in the nation. 

Day 03

Start your morning by exploring the ancient city of  Polonnaruwa by bicycle for an energetic start. Take some time to explore the Dambulla Caves Temple.

Day 04

 You can hike in the early morning at Sigiriya Rock one of Sri Lanka’s most visited tourist spots. Once housing the monarch’s palace, the stairway to the summit is guarded by the renownedly enormous lion paws. Once you have your lodging in Kandy take a city tour that includes a stop at the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Discover Kandy’s rich Udarata tradition. 

Day 05

Take a hike through the Knuckles Mountain Ranges tea plantations and forests to take in the stunning views of the varied flora and wildlife. Making a detour to visit a waterfall is an additional option. Those who appreciate the outdoors and solitude should not miss this journey.

Day 06

Travel to Nuwara Eliya and take in the breathtaking views of endless green tea fields. Along the way make a stop to see the tea factory and the magnificent Ramboda Falls. There will be an assortment of teas at the factory outlet, you are welcome to browse samples and buy whatever you like. Go on a city tour later in the evening while it’s still cold outside. 

Day 07

You can take in the stunning view of the misty clouds and the sun peeking between the mountains if you get up early. Hike up Hortain Plains, the world’s ultimate eco-destination. This hike is one of the most beautiful on the island. With luck, you may be able to spot the Sri Lankan Sambars grazing the long grass in the morning. 

Day 08

In the morning take an exciting train excursion from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. You will see and photograph some of the most magnificent sights such as the Ravana waterfalls during this ride. Spend the night in Udawalawe after travelling there later in the afternoon.

Day 09

Experience the exhilaration of a Jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park at dawn. Elephants, crocodiles, deer, leopards and wild boars exist in this area in addition to a wide variety of migratory and native birds. After that travel to Sinharaja to spend the night comfortably.

Day 10

After breakfast take a tour of the Sinharaja Rain Forest with a naturalist. Choose between the three-hour hike or the two-hour waterfall trail, either way, it will be an amazing hike, seeing all of the flora and fauna that surrounds you.

Day 11

Take a morning stroll along the cobblestone lanes of the magnificent Dutch Fort of Galle, which is regarded as Asia’s best-preserved colonial sea fort, to experience its colonial grandeur. The island’s oldest breadfruit tree is located inside the Fort.

Day 12,13

Later head to this seaside city for an enjoyable beach vacation. Spend your free time in the sea to relax  and get tanned.

Day 14

On your final day, head to the airport to depart, marking the end of your journey through Sri Lanka’s natural wonders and cultural legacy.
