Day 01

Once you’re in the energetic city of Colombo head to your accommodation. In the afternoon you can start your town tour if you would like.

Day 02

Arrive in Dambulla early in the morning and stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its magnificent Buddha statues and artwork that were discovered in rock caverns. After seeing the temple take a fascinating safari in Minneriya National Park. The park is well-known for its enormous herds of elephants and provides opportunities to see a variety of wildlife. Go to Sigiriya for the night to finish the day. 

Day 03

For expansive views of the old fort and the surrounding countryside, trek the Pidurangala Rock. It can be thought of as an extra or similar ascent to Sigiriya. You can also go to the Sigiriya rock and hike to the summit where you can see the stunning murals. Experience the excitement of kayaking on the serene waters of Kandalama while encircled by breathtaking landscapes and an abundance of vegetation. Enjoy a true Sri Lankan village excursion as the day comes to a close.

Day 04

Discover the fascinating Knuckles Mountain Range a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its breathtaking scenery and plethora of wildlife. Discover the untamed surroundings of Knuckles which include a range of natural settings and thick forests. Visitors experience a true sense of fulfillment from the walk which offers stunning views of mist-covered mountains and hidden waterfalls. 

Day 05

On the fifth day you can go whitewater rafting in Kitulgala. You can enjoy the breathtaking flow of the Kelani River by white water rafting. Activities like waterfall rappelling stream sliding and jungle hiking are also popular there.

Day 06

Leave Kitulgala and travel to Negombo a seaside community renowned for its fine sand beaches and thriving fishing industry. After you get there relax on the beach go for a boat ride around the Negombo Lagoon or buy fresh seafood and handicrafts locally. To end the day, have a fun overnight stay.

Day 07

Before leaving to the airport,  spend a relaxed morning in Negombo to end your time in Sri Lanka.
