Day 01

Driving from Colombo to Kandy on the first day make a stop at Pinnawala’s Elephant Orphanage. Make sure to stop by the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Temple of the Holy Tooth after your cultural tour. As you spend the night in Kandy take in the serene evening atmosphere.

Day 02

Beautiful views of Sri Lanka’s highlands can be seen during the train journey from Kandy to Nanu Oya. To witness the art of tea making in action visit a nearby tea factory while you are in Nuwara Eliya. Experience the magnificent mountain vistas while taking a leisurely evening boat ride on Gregory Lake. End your day in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03

Take the train to Ella from Nanu Oya and take in the breathtaking views as you travel. When you get to Ella you might be greeted by broad vistas of rolling hills and lush valleys. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and spend some time in this quaint village that offers a tranquil haven in the middle of the wilderness.

Day 04

Observe the renowned Ella Gap by heading to Little Adam’s Peak early in the morning for breathtaking views of Ella. See the famous Nine Arch Bridge, a stunning architectural wonder situated amid the jungle. Spend one more evening taking in the peace and beauty of the surroundings after you get back to Ella.

Day 05

• Visit the magnificent Ravana Waterfall en route to Yala as you drive from Ella. Experience an exciting Jeep Safari ride in Yala National Park where you can see a wide range of animals such as sloth bears, leopards and elephants.

Day 06

Travel from Yala to Mirissa where you can see the transition from grasslands to stunning beaches.

Day 07

Go whale-watching in Mirissa to get the day started.  After taking in the stunning blue whales and dolphins take a train to Bentota. At Bentota Turtle Hatchery, take a leisurely boat ride down the Madu River. This evening after spending the night in Bentota, allow yourself to relax and enjoy the seaside.

Day 08

Travel by train to Colombo, enjoying the new air. Experience the vibrant streets, well-known buildings and fascinating sights of Colombo when you visit. Take in the lively atmosphere of the city and enjoy your last night in Colombo.

Day 09

Take your journey through Sri Lanka with you as you head to the airport.
