Day 01

Once you arrive in Colombo, the vibrant city of Sri Lanka check out your accommodations. To begin your journey, take in the town’s rich cultural heritage and historic beauty.

Day 02

 Explore the historically significant city of Kandy. After visiting the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage site, enjoy an exciting traditional dance performance in the evening.

Day 03

Learn about the ‘Mahiyanganaya’ village life. Visit a village to witness the intriguing pan-weaving and clay-making process. After trekking to the Little-Known ‘Rathna Ella’ and ‘Kaluwa Wetuna Ella’ waterfalls, savour a traditional rice and curry lunch.

Day 04

Spend the day at the native Vedda community’s home, ‘Dambana Vedda’ Village in Mahiyangala. Savour a traditional barbecue meal while watching Veddha dances by the campfire. Explore caverns and go on a rainforest bush walk.

Day 05

 Check out the Gal Oya National Park. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the park before embarking on an afternoon jeep safari where you will witness the unique wildlife and scenic splendour of the area.

Day 06

Walk with the head of the Vedda village through the forests of his ancestors. Discover the historical search grounds and immerse yourself in the environment and listen to hunter-gatherer folktales.

Day 07

Take a boat safari first thing in the morning to observe the local fauna in Gal Oya National Park. After attending a local cooking class in the afternoon, enjoy a delicious dinner at a typical local home. 

Day 08

 For sweeping views of the surrounding mountains hike to Ella’s Little Adams Peak. Next, pay a visit to the well-known Nine Arches Bridge which is an important landmark in Sri Lankan railway history. 

Day 09

On your last morning in Weligama enjoy the stunning coastline before heading to the airport with priceless memories from this all-encompassing natural and cultural experience.
