Day 01

After your journey arrive in Negombo and unwind. Explore the town's calm beaches and thriving fishing scene.

Day 02

Early in the morning on the second day go to the temples of ‘Mannarai’ and ‘Munneswaram’ in Chilaw. In addition to their religious importance, these temples are well known for their beautiful architecture. Travel to Kandy, the capital city known for its thriving culture to continue your journey. Start your city tour as soon as you arrive to make the most of the Holy Temple of the Tooth Relic and the vibrant local marketplace.

Day 03

When you get to Nuwara Eliya don't forget to visit the two primary Ramayana sites ‘Sri Baktha Hanuman Kovil’ and ‘Seetha Amman Kovil’. Savor the stunning vistas of this hill country which is renowned for its tea plantations and chilly climate.

Day 04

Depart Nuwara Eliya and head to Bandarawela a charming hill city encircled by dense tea plantations and foggy mountains. Go to ‘Gayathri-Peedam’ a calm Hindu shrine dedicated to the goddesses Divurumpola and Gayathri. This is the place where Sita is said to have met the ‘Agni Pariksha’ in the Ramayana.

Day 05

Explore the famous Ravana Caves and Ravana Falls which may have Ramayana connections when you arrive in Ella. Discover the hallowed temple at Kataragama, a major Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site.

Day 06

Visit the famous temple of Lord Murugan in the late morning. Then visit the unusual coastal region of Ussangoda which is believed to have served as Hanuman's landing place when he was searching for Sita. The ‘Sri Anjaneyar Temple’ in Colombo and the ‘Seenigama Temple' in Hikkaduwa round out your full-day tour of the historically significant ‘Rumassala Temple' in Galle.

Day 07

Take off for the airport with treasured memories of your journey through Sri Lanka.

Go whale-watching in Mirissa to get the day started.  After taking in the stunning blue whales and dolphins take a train to Bentota. At Bentota Turtle Hatchery, take a leisurely boat ride down the Madu River. This evening after spending the night in Bentota, allow yourself to relax and enjoy the seaside.
